Pricing

At Black Joy Ave we accept all major credit or debit cards with a MasterCard, Visa, American Express, etc. logo. You may securely check out through Shopify Payments, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay.

At this time we do not ship internationally. 

We get this question a lot and the answer is NO!! The purpose of Black Joy Ave is to provide the world with an actual depiction of the Black experience in America, one that isn't simply about oppression and lack. In fact, joy runs all throughout our community and that's what we're committed to promoting. Thus, we invite everyone to take part in this movement because we recognize that without each other, we really can't change the dominant narratives. So come on in the neighborhood and don't forget to invite your friends and family too!!

We use water based and eco-friendly inks in a process called DTG, or direct-to-garment. This makes the feel much softer than traditional screen printed shirts, but just as durable. We're using CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act) compliant inks, which are required when printing on children's wear 12 and below. Also note that prints may appear faded simply because DTG means that it is printed directly onto the garment and absorbed into the fabric. 

When unpacking a new garment with a direct-to-garment (DTG) print, you might notice a vinegar-like smell or an off-white residue. Don't worry, that's not unusual - it's from a fixation agent applied during the printing process and it's not permanent. They will both disappear after the first wash.

If you receive a product with a stain - please wash it before reporting a problem.

Please submit 2-3 good photos of the problem (at least one full shot of the garment, and/or 2 different angles of the issue) and the nature of the problem to: hello@blackjoyave.com within the first 14 days of receiving your items. It is important to send your photos with your initial inquiry first to ensure we solve your problem as quickly as possible.
